PROJECT STATUS

Understand a Dubai project status before choosing a route

How to read active, delayed, under-cancellation and cancelled Dubai real-estate project records without confusing a status label with a complete case assessment.

Last reviewed: 3 September 2026

01

Start with the current authority record

Use the Dubai Land Department Project Status Enquiry and search by project name or number. Record the date you checked it because status, completion and inspection fields can change.

02

A status does not answer every owner question

The public status should be read beside your SPA, Oqood or registration evidence, payment records, escrow information and correspondence. A cancelled or under-cancellation label does not by itself establish the amount or timing of any recovery.

03

Keep facts separated from assumptions

Treat authority data, developer statements, owner recollection and Development Resolution analysis as different evidence layers. This makes later technical, commercial or legal review more reliable.
