Developer keeps changing the Dubai handover date — what should an owner record?
How to organize revised handover dates, notices and project-status evidence when an off-plan completion date keeps moving.

Build one handover-date chronology
List the original contractual date, every amendment or notice, the date each revision was communicated and the source document. Avoid relying on memory or chat summaries.
Compare communications with public progress
Check the DLD project record and inspection information where available. A developer’s revised schedule and the authority’s reported project data are different evidence sources.
Preserve the exact wording
Save original emails, letters and portal notices. Whether a communication is a forecast, contractual amendment, notice or settlement proposal can matter in later review.
